Realtors across Sumner County are coming together to sponsor and support the Sumner Realtors Build! This initiative unites local real estate professionals to help a family achieve the dream of homeownership. By contributing their time, resources, and energy, these dedicated professionals are building more than a home—they’re building stability, hope, and a stronger community for everyone.
Meet Laura
Laura, a hardworking single mother, spent years juggling two jobs and school to provide a better life for her family. For a time, all of them lived in a cramped two-bedroom apartment, and even when they moved to a larger space, it came with challenges like black mold and bitter drafts in the winter.
Determined to give her children a safe and stable home, Laura applied to Habitat for Humanity after a friend encouraged her. “I never thought it would happen for me, but I’m so glad I didn’t give up,” she shares.
Through Habitat, Laura has worked hard, learned new skills, and seen her dreams come to life. “This home will be everything we’ve hoped for—a place to feel safe, grow, and build new memories.”
