opportunities for groups
We welcome groups to the ReStores on any days they are open, or on the build site on weekdays and Saturdays throughout the year based on availability and our volunteer needs. Generally, we consider a volunteer group to be 8-10 volunteers on one volunteer day. There are many different ways for groups to get involved.
House sponsors provide the financial underwriting and volunteers to build a house alongside the homebuyer family. As a house sponsor, you have larger groups and more frequent build dates as well as great sponsor benefits.

For those passionate groups eager to contribute to building dreams, yet may not have the resources for a full house sponsorship, our non-sponsor group option offers a golden opportunity to make a significant impact. During our build seasons, there are moments when our paid sponsors are unable to occupy every available build day. It is here that your group can step in, serving alongside the larger sponsors to help construct homes for those in need. Please note that because of the supplemental nature of non-sponsor volunteer opportunities, groups will not receive build site information until 1 -2 days prior to the scheduled build date.
